Moving Forward in Mission
At Rio Vista Church and Bethany Christian School, our mission has always been clear: to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Every ministry, every classroom, every gathering on this campus exists to help people know Christ and follow Him more deeply.
As our church and school continue to flourish, the impact is undeniable. But with growth comes responsibility and a set of challenges we can no longer ignore.
Our plan unfolds in two major phases:
Phase One
1) Expanded Parking
On Sundays, during school days, and at nearly every major event, parking has become one of our greatest barriers to hospitality and growth. It affects everyone—and as both the church and school continue to grow, we don’t want to remain dependent on our neighbors for parking.
In Phase One, we will expand our South Parking Lot to increase our overall parking footprint and better serve our families and community. This includes redesigning our school carline to move cars off 9th Street and reworking our pickup and drop-off flow in the South Lot to create safer, smoother, and more efficient access for everyone.
A safer, more modern play environment for our students—one that enhances their daily experience and supports physical, social, and emotional development. This upgrade also frees space for the parking lot expansion.
2) New Playgrounds
Phase Two
1) New Middle School
Creating a dedicated, appropriately sized space for our growing middle school community—allowing us to expand enrollment, strengthen programming, and disciple more students.
2) Enhanced Elementary Building
Upgrading and reconfiguring key areas to support long-term growth, improve classroom environments, and ensure our youngest learners have the room they need to flourish.
With the addition of the Middle School Building, we can prepare to strategically enhance our K-5 building to best support the flourishing of our students.
